Ingredients
- 4 Tbs butter
- 8 oz Jalapeno salsa (Marketside Medium from Wal-Mart)
- 1 lb shredded cheddar cheese – shredded (Tillamook)
- 1 lb White American Cheese – sliced (Land of Lakes deli sliced)
- 8 oz pepper jack cheese – shredded (Tillamook)
- 7 oz Salsa Verde (Herdez)
Directions
Continue to stir as the mixture melts.
Slowly add the remaining shredded cheese (1 lb cheddar and 8 oz pepper jack) along with the remaining salsa (4 oz) until the queso is creamy. You can move the temperature to 150 degrees shortly to help melt some of the harder cheese, but eventually set it to 140 degrees so the queso doesn’t break.
